I wrote this at the beginning of the year and am only getting around to publishing now. The end of January! I hope you find this helpful. I wrote this with my AI and I thought I would begin right away but everyday life crept in and I’m getting to it late. Perfectionism is out the window!
I’d love to hear how you are doing and what intention you are choosing to anchor. Let’s share our worlds. I’m going to put a link here for a CONNECT AND SHARE call (google Meet). We’ll talk about this theme and share our insights, wins and learnings. February 3, 2026 2:00 p.m. Pacific
The first month of a new year carry a particular kind of light. Even if the world feels like it’s breaking down, something in us still hopes for revitalization. When setting our intentions do we really need to be dramatic? Can we set just a little intention? Something what might carry us through the year?
We at Xponential Mentor we are beginning 2026 with a wish to live even more deliberately. And we’re not sure what that means in this dynamic and chaotic world? However, we’ve come up with a little guide that may help us be in integrity with our intention. And we want to share it with you.
We’ve created three simple actions for the first 90 days and we’ll probably start now.
FIRST: Choose one anchor intention
Not ten. One. (ha ha)
The intention that, if honoured, it would quietly improve everything. We see an anchor intention more like a compass and less like a goal. It sure doesn’t demand perfection. Imagine we want to head East. Now, even if we are moving NNE (North North East) we’re heading closer to the intended destination. As we move along, we’ll make course corrections. That’s healthy.
So here is an exercise for us to do, which we can bring it to the call.
Write an intention, for the next 90 days in plain language (by hand if possible). Choose something that is meaningful to you. For example:
Now choose one small behaviour to make it real and build a normal weekly rhythm:
What does your normal life look like? Does it unfold in Tuesday mornings, in grocery runs, and in the moments you don’t post about. So, pick a rhythm that fits your real life like:
Make it easy and repeatable. Randy Gage speaks about Dreaming Bigger. Create a rhythm that is in a form of kindness to yourself. Small steps taken, create greater shifts than big steps never taken.
Engage in a weekly Truth check.
Share with a friend or join our weekly call and share:
No self-judgement. No story. Just honesty. Truth is what keeps an intention alive. It is also what helps you adjust instead of giving up on yourself.
Ninety days. One anchor. A rhythm. A weekly truth check. That’s how quiet lives become powerful.
At Xponential Mentor, we believe:

You don’t have to do this alone.
Let’s walk it together.
